Here's the next comic. The battle begins between the Everwood council, Slammy and Denise VS EXILLON. It immediately gets quite messy as well. Click here to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Hmmm, I guess BeepyMcExillon had something special to it to get Slammy before Peganone as it seems to have taken its turn just after the first disintegrate.
Also, I just noticed that there's a lot more detail to Slammy after needing to check something behind my monitor and seeing the comic from a different viewing angle; neat.

Charm Monster is one hell of a drug. Don't think Exillon is getting out of here alive without running away or a True Resurrection. Unless he gets some very good reinforcements or activates some traps, I suppose.

Did Exillon just teleport Peganone's head off? Because that's just AWESOME!

Did Exillon just teleport Peganone's head off? Because that's just AWESOME! It's actually a psionic attack called " Cranial Deluge," a psychometabolic effect that causes the opponent's brain to swell from excess cranial fluid. It's massively damaging, and can cause the head to explode if the target reaches 0 HP.

Oh, I thought it meant that Exillon tried to teleport Trevoricus away from the battle. Every crystal has a different attack, right? Like a beholder. One of them is telekenesis and is smacking the dwarf with the halberd. Peganone didn't vibrate like Trevoricus, either. I wonder what he did do.
And Ivan Drago quote for the fricken' win.

not sure if this is the right place for this comment but let me just say I really like SUPER really appreciate the author's dedication to the comic and that it's not just another fly-by-night story that gets me wrapped up into it just to leave me hanging as the author loses interest
also I've been following OotS since before it had a real plot (comic #30 or so) and I like this one better than that one not the least of which is I expect to still be alive at the conclusion of the story
