I've got another comic done. We're back to the main crowd, and we see they've stayed at a hotel for the night and prepared for a desert trip. Those desert plans might get put on hold when Julie gets a surprise message. Click here to go to the archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

rogonandi - "Angelika, can I have a word? We're going to have to cut your story with the KoJ team from the movie, it's just adding to much to the run time. We'll put it back in for the extended edition release though."
angelika - "I'm calling my agent."

Book 3 of this story's probably about 75% completed, and we already have too many dangling plot threads as it is.

It feels like Angelika's player had some IRL commitments and couldn't make the game. So to explain the PC's absence she went off on this side quest and the DM dropped an NPC into the group to maintain balance.

Prediction: The group will, at least once, be very disappointed that they have a wizard instead of a sorcerer in the party. Possibly after forgetting that wizards can't do something that sorcerers can. (Like, say, cast feather fall as many times as they have spell slots instead of just how many times it's prepared) As always, thanks for the comics.

Well there's the fact Wizards have to prepare their magic in advance, but that holds true for every Wizard rather than just Harvey. There could potentially be a disappointment in store which you might be able to piece together before the characters do by checking out Harvey's character page.

Rocky: Quick Harvey, kill it with fire! Harvey: I can't do that. Lenny: Then zap it with lightning! Harvey: I ... I'm not that kind of wizard. Rocky: Then what can you do?! Harvey: *Casts Obscure Object* The rest of the party: *Face palm*

The party is still split so I don't think they can celebrate being back together quite yet...
Also, typo in panel 8. Asside should be Aside.
