Got a new comic done. I guess we're fighting a couple of Shadows now who want to swarm Harvey. It's revealed the Bone Rogue doesn't like them at all and wants in on destroying them as well. Lenny critically fails an attack, and by critically fails, I mean criticially fails. Click here to go to the archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Harvey got dropped by one critical hit? #weaksauce Hehehe...to be fair, he was still damaged even after healing from Jordie...and the Elephant Gun bow did hit him for maximum damage.

Bonerocky seems decent enough at the moment. Here's to hoping he doesn't turn out to be wightkid mk II.

Handing magic arrows to an enemy who says he surrendered? That's mighty trusting on Rocky's part. He's lucky they didn't end up embedded in his throat.
Harvey really is a square, isn't he? Barred evocation? Now that's an anti-magic wizard for you. His player likes a challenge and is one of those who is always trying to play a merchant, a gymnast, or other non-action PC.
The shadows didn't do so well either. That's a helluva bow he's using.
Well, Harvey can't complain any more about not getting to use his mirror images. See what happens when you complain!
Both verbs on either side of that "if" have to agree in the tenth panel.

Both verbs on either side of that "if" have to agree in the tenth panel. specifically the tense has to agree - "He'll" should be changed to "He'd"

It was way back in book 2, around page 300 or so when the group was fighting a whole pack of Angelo Kids in a small town. One of the Angelo Kids was a dedicated archer and was using the bow Lenny's using now.

Or one of those who drops a posse of elementals on someone's head and watches the show from behind a Sanctuary -- but I'm not sure if I take him for some Conjurer of cheap tricks

They're part of my favorite d&d build. But I don't see Harvey picking them up unless he's told to.

They may be a rare breed, but there are wizards who use their magic to enhance their party and perform non-combat related spells to help them achieve goals faster. Harvey may not be able to cast flashy evocation spells, but he's effectively serving as the group's winnebago between the Phantom Steeds and the Milo's Secure Shelters.

Now if only his non-spell defences didn't suck so much. Also, does he have "mage armor" and "false life" active during every adventuring hour? Personally, I think that damage spells are massively overrated. Better to spend time manipulating the environment, debuffing enemies, buffing allies, and generally being a force multiplier for the primary combatants while you stay the heck away from enemy weapons. And he'll get access to shadow evocation soon if there are any evocation spells he actually misses having access to.

With a teammate like Lenny, who needs enemies?
