I've created another comic. Sorry about it not being as timely as the last bunch were, but I've been back to work for a bit, I've created a couple of gay NSFW drawings of Gordon and Lenny for my tumblr account, and I've been working on the Manjulias RPG game. A lot of tilesets were completed, but I have so many more to do. :/ Anyway, the comic's just Umbria's crew deliberating what they're gonna do and they discuss how they can identify what the deal is with Kergrek's shield. Huh. An ego shield? One that talks and can take over a user, like AD&D magic swords? I love how this comic does the rules instead of crapping all over them OOTS-style. Why even do a D&D comic if you've got something against the idea?
So, white = non-chaotic evil, blue = non-chaotic neutral?

The dwarf's lawful, what a shock there, though I technically shouldn't know that. He's not at all genre savvy though.
And if the shield's not chaotic, I guess it's not a shield of wonders.

Why even do a D&D comic if you've got something against the idea? So, white = non-chaotic evil, blue = non-chaotic neutral? If the shield's intelligent, like a weapon or any other item, it can dominate a user if its ego is high enough. Particularly jackass intelligent items can make their users do all sorts of dubious stuff. The D&D in this comic doesn't always obey all the rules of D&D, but when compared to OOTs. I do tend to play the D&D tropes and rules somewhat straighter.

Really lived how you uses the gnomes point of view in the comic! Awesome touch! I'm betting the shields either an intelligent item or some wizard that morphed into a shield with some spell like polymorph. Didn't play 3.0/5 dnd much though so I don't know if that would work at all...

Typo: "I'm don't wanna stay in this future undead nest."
Also, is Vancian a lower-case adjective?

Typo: "I'm don't wanna stay in this future undead nest." Also, is Vancian a lower-case adjective? Well, Vancian magic is derived from the name Vance, so I presume it should be uppercase.

Im assuming they found a scroll/potion of Remove Blindness for Trevor You'd assume correctly. It's more likely they found an imperial "Spiritual Specialist" at one of the many encampments there are in the warzones.
