This thread is to discuss Food & share recipes and to get the ball rolling, I'm going to share a recipe for mini-meatballs with dipping sauce. Name: Mini-meatballs with Dipping Sauce Makes: 40 Ingredients:- 450g lean minced beef
- 1 red onion, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 125g coriander leaves, finely crushed
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 100g pitted green olives, finely chopped
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- Dipping Sauce:
- 4 tablespoons sweet chilli sauce
- 4 tablespoons tomato sauce
- Juice of 1 Lime
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Instructions:- Preheat Oven to 190°C/374°F/463.15°K
- Combine All Ingredients except vegetable oil and dipping sauce ingredients
- Shape into 40 small balls
- Place in a roasting pan with the oil
- Bake for 15 minutes until well browned
- Dipping Sauce:
- Combine Dipping Sauce Ingredients in a glass jar
- Shake well
- Chill
Serving:
Serve Meatballs hot with the dipping sauce.
