Here's a new comic. The Battle's still going on, though it seems to be in the bag for Jack's crew. Yo-Lee's still hungry though, so she might snack on someone else before the day is over. Click here to go to the archives: Click!Click here to vote for the comic: Click!

That second human is going straight to her hips.
How are our airship captain going to take prisoners in the wilderness anyway? It's not like Angelo/Brian's troops were planning on taking prisoners.

So they have clones now? Or is the nice lady who looks like Emily, casts like Emily, works for Angelo like Emily and is named Emily like Emily just a coincidence?

Well considering the Souballo Empire have been growing human-like creatures in labs for a little while now, a clone of Emily (or perhaps Emily is a decently working template) is quite likely. Maybe they only have a finite amount of creativity when developing the 'memories' of these clones. That second human is going straight to her hips. How are our airship captain going to take prisoners in the wilderness anyway? It's not like Angelo/Brian's troops were planning on taking prisoners. Yo-Lee ain't one of them anorexic Succubi we see in those Dragon Magazines! That girl's proud to have some meat on her bones...though since she's a shapeshifter, it doesn't really matter how much the girl likes to eat as she can look like any person (male or female) she wants.

So, time to analyze these guys: There are three Toms. One is the dead fighter guy, the second is the archer, and the third then must be the guy who ran away. I'm also guessing that we saw a Tom in the first panel of this page. Similarly, I think that another version of the blond also appeared in the first panel. As for the one with red hair, they appear to be unique, but they may be the same as the blond one. Now obviously, different prototypes develop differently due to environmental factors. That means either that the Emily prototype is strongly linked to wizardry, they take great care to avoid odd development and the Toms were unusual, or it's simple chance that kept us from seeing any non-wizard Emilys. Alternatively, the Tom prototype could be good for general use, and therefore were allowed to choose more classes.

Those lime green boots of speed clash horribly. They're actually Boots of Elvenkind, but yes.

Great comic, as usual. (Small typo in the last word of the last panel: a 'i' is missing after the 'a': "liaison")

Is it just me, or does the Captain's eye patch switch eyes between panel 5 and 6?
Is it one of those magical items that have different effects depending on the eye covered?

It seems that Tom #3's buckler, then, would be a Buckler of Vanishing During Spellcasting. If we're gonna get technical, the buckler isn't real at all as it's just part of a magical disguise of Yo-Lee.
