Something tells me Melchior's the one behind all these demons. Not sure about the Dominate Person spell, though. Either Sophia or Brian gave him some sort of item, it's homebrew, or there's something he's not telling us...
Honestly, I'm rooting for homebrew. Blackguards have a bit limited a selection when it comes to spells.

There is an unnecessary period after the first Dominate Person, and unnecessary single quotes around the second one. :*
Wow, Janice knows Jordon! The plot thickens!

Unearthed Arcana's Paladin of Tyranny has Dominate Person in its spell list.

This is the kind of thing I don't like.
A couple months ago Angelo was within spitting distance of the pendant keeper.
Now if one of these two happens to ask the right question, the jig is up.
The power level of the good and evil factions in this whole thing is too disparate. If evil loses at anything it is because of sheer stupidity or story fiat.
Geez all Brian and Angelo need to do to finish the elves is just greater teleport there and do it personally. It's already been established they can't get out of their own way, and no one available even Thomas Stratus can touch either one of them. Plus it's not like they don't have an evil kid sorceress, a clown demon, a construct something, Janice, a dragon, an army of evil clones, a regular army, at least one group of adventurers, an evil copy of Julie...
And that is just off the top of my head. And what does good have? Literally what do they have? An airship captain without an airship. A council of mid level guys who don't even remember the party on this quest, an old mage who doesn't do anything (Stratus), a paladin who has been consigned to a fate worse than death and who didn't know what was going on anyway. Come to think of it, the mage isn't alone. A kid sorceress for pete's sake can run around the elf city and get close to the king with absolute impunity, and she is powerful enough to whack him without a second thought. The clown demon can distribute propaganda spreadsheets with absolute impunity.
The central protagonists of this story bumble around from place to place, without bothering to find out what is going on, let alone try to do anything about the main threat. Whenever they use that pendant for guidance they have a close call with one of their main enemies without even knowing it.
Seriously, what is going on with this story? Just telling it like I see it. Christ Lord of the Rings wasn't this unbalanced in favor of evil.
Heck the way you have presented things so far, Angelo can go to Silverfronds by himself, fry everyone and everything in it in about 10 minutes, then go home and declare victory. And there would be nothing anyone could do about it. Which brings to mind the question, why doesn't he? It's not like anyone can stop him.

You're forgetting that Thomas has since become active, there's also Maxo and Candesco (I'd mention Jordie's parents, but they could go either way), and that according to the probably-outdated character sheets, Tegretol and Thomas are level 17 and 15 respectively, about as much as the secondary villains. All things considered, those four could take the four generals. Umbria's just over Julie's level, and her team overall is a pretty even match for Julie's. All that leaves is Carrus, Brian, and Angelo, as well as a bunch of minor baddies versus the elven army. Sure it's not exactly a fair fight, but basically what this boils down to overpowered main villains and initially underpowered heroes, and I can think of only a few stories that don't have those. And now that I've got the important start out of the way, the army's not made of clones. They're just various experiments.

Blackguards have a bit limited a selection when it comes to spells. If Calor ever saw Melchior, it'd be likely the Devil would attempt to destroy the Demon on sight. Demons and Devils always try to destroy each other, and won't ever willingly work together. He's using the spell list for the Paladin of Tyranny from The Unearthed Arcana. If it's one thing those tyrant blackguards love, it's using magic to subjugate opponents and whatnot. Janice probably just didn't realize that right away. There is an unnecessary period after the first Dominate Person, and unnecessary single quotes around the second one. :* Wow, Janice knows Jordon! The plot thickens! The period's actually a comma, but I think it might've been mangled a little bit from being highlighted with magic yellow. Janice may not necessarily know Jordon. She probably does know the name of the person the Souballo Empire wanted to abduct however as does Bruce. This is the kind of thing I don't like. When it comes to many of your complaints, I'm going to try my best to refrain from uttering any cruel laughter. The Elves of Silverfronds do have the followers of The Angel Of Justice and The Angel of Hope in their corner officially now. We've only seen a few of them so far, but Stellina and Garamone are both Greater Gods and have a huge amount of followers who are very willing to protect anyone they can from the forces of evil. Don't be surprised if you see a few more bigwigs from either of these religious forces come out of the woodwork to aid Silverfronds. When it comes to Jordie, even under mental domination he isn't under any obligation to tell Janice or Bruce anything he doesn't need to. Heck, now that he's under mental domination he's even less likely to say something stupid. Ironically, now he can't do anything other than exactly what Janice asks of him besides eat or sleep. She'd have to ask him some extremely specific questions in order to get any Pendant Keeper information from him, and she knows nothing of his quests and projects as far as we know.

Something that is occasionally even more interesting is when other evil groups decide to interfere on the side of good, because they don't want a competing or greater evil to win. Though it is not clear exactly whether Angelo directly serves an evil god, or whether Brian even knows he is evil. I'm pretty sure Bruce knows what he is about.

Maxo does have a wish from a Glabrezu as well. That could open the door to all sorts of wild Evil VS Evil shenanigans.
