New comic. Angelika agrees to give Julie a Fly spell so she can check all the areas she can in the air, though Lenny's pretty doubtful that she's going to find anything. The wall(s) of ice in front of the cottage were melted by Angelika's fireball, but unfortunately an unpleasant magical ice effect's still in place where the ice was. That must've been pretty painful for Mr. Maclain there. Click this to go to the archives: Click here.Click this to vote for the comic: Click here.

I really like her pajamas.
Be interesting to see how they play this. Jack and the caster (he is a wizard right?) can presumably divine out the wazoo tomorrow morning.
Getting to the location might be a bigger deal though. Can't see anyone high enough for teleport. And god forbid another plane. Still looks like we have some two party action coming. Be interesting to see how our guys work with this new crew. Wizard, cleric, and what are the dwarfs? If they work for a LG god, hard to see a rogue.

Be interesting to see how our guys work with this new crew. Wizard, cleric, and what are the dwarfs? If they work for a LG god, hard to see a rogue. If they had an expensive and exquisitely crafted mirror, Harvey (their wizard) could perform a scrying on Warren to see where he is and what's happening to him. In D&D terms Warren (the ranged attack fighter who was with Jordie) would get a -9 penalty on his will to resist this, as they know him well and they have something that belongs to him (his sword.) Unless there's some kind of magic that blocks the spell, it could work quite well in getting some information about what happened. Meanwhile Jack (their cleric) could do a sending spell to either Warren or Jordie to get some info on where they are now. Once again this may help a lot unless there's some kind of unfriendly magic blocking that. When it comes to rogues in the service of Stellina, they're usually called 'scouts' (not related to the character class in Complete Adventurer.) They do all the things that a normal rogue does such as picking locks, disarming traps, sneak attacks and information gathering. They just don't do the things that rogues are notorious for such as theft and other unscrupulous things. There aren't any scouts in Jack's party though.

Because as a wizard I would definitely cart around a 2' x 4' mirror in the wilderness where any orc, goblin or kobold could smash it.

Goblins don't exist in Manjulias, I'm afraid...they were all wiped out by the Kobolds some time ago. Orcs are extremely rare on the main continent due to the Souballo Empire and other forces wiping them out. When it comes to carting around an cumbersome mirror, they'd probably stash something like that in a bag of holding or something else that has extra--dimensional space. There's still no guarantee that they'd have something like that on them though.

Also, is it just goblins that were wiped out or were all goblinoids (hobgoblins, bugbears, etc) destroyed?

The Hobgoblins and Bugbears aren't extinct yet, though are quite rare on North Manjulias due to the actions of the Souballo Empire and other forces that protected the land from those creatures.
