New comic. The battle seems to be going better, until we found out there's also a Giant joining things. Getting hit with a 30-40 lb rock probably would kill a normal person. Click this to go to the archives: Click here!Click this to vote for the comic: Click here please!

Ooohhh, looks like we're getting into a full on Hag Covey.
Time to put that +4 racial dodge bonus to work!

First off, wow. That dwarf's pretty tough, especially since he doesn't seem to show any major injury after those swipes.
Also, I just noticed that thing around the elf snowman's neck (well, lack thereof). I'm not sure I even want to know what that is.
And yeah. Getting hit with rocks like that would not be a ton of fun, but at least it's better than good enough fighters making 3 attacks a second (combat reflexes FTOP) high level rogues jumping 80 feet without magic or really high-level barbarians being able to swim through freaking lava.
ETA: Also, five clerics can keep someone alive while they're permanently on fire.

Well, one thing that Melee fighting types have going for them is that they tend to be made of iron. Also, unless the Hag Man has the improved natural attack feat, his normal claw attacks don't hurt any worse than two dagger attacks. He doesn't have the Rend attack like the Annis does either.

Well, I guess that the second half of this fight will be a lot more painful for certain parties than the first. That's an intestine theory (I regret no pun). The problem I see is that one end is bloody, and the other doesn't appear to be (although I suppose it could just go behind the snowman).
