This section was looking vacant so, I picked a topic out of a hat and started asking questions. - Is being a Spirit Guide something that is exclusive only to Dragons?
- Is it a racial ability OR is it a property of the planes that allows transference of arcane ability?
- Do Dragons have a say in who they guide?
- Why hasn't Carrus exploited this and given arcane power to Janice?
[/ul][/li][li]How much influence does the guide have? E.G. Spirit Guide to Sorcerer as God to Paladin or Fae/Demon to Warlock? [/li][/ol]

I think Carrus is still pretty young, so he might not have all the powers.

This is a pretty cool way to do it. 1. Yes, being a Spirit Guide is something exclusive to Dragons and it's a neither a planar nor racial thing. It's something the Dragons decided to do for giggles. 2. Yes, Dragons do have a say in who they guide. Carrus can't guide Janice for two reasons: The first reason is that the spirit guide thing is only available to Sorcerers and Janice is a wizard. The second reason is that even if Carrus could be Janice's spirit guide, he's only a 'baby' in dragon terms and wouldn't be able to magically help her that much. 3. Spirit Guides have fairly little influence in a Sorcerer's life and certainly not in the same way a god has with a Paladin. However, if the Spirit Guides do decide to take a charge on, the charge does gain a couple of benefits that wouldn't otherwise be available to them.
