Speaking of the Pendant Keeper... There are a lot of divine fingers in this pie. What if Mortaridar was only allowed to enter the physical plane (suspicious that he was right there to deal with Maxo) because Quizma among others knew that Julie was hard at work on finding the Magicant? To chivvy her along, let's say? Because Quizmalia doesn't offer any opinion during Julie's dreams unless her phrasing of such has at least two meanings. "Yes there are ways of getting rid of Mortaridar that don't involve the Magicant, but don't use that as an excuse to slack off. And DO use Morty's presence as a carrot to keep the paladins around." (paraphrased, of course) Paladins who will keep reminding Julie and co. of Morty's presence as a stick to finish the quest on that.
I dunno. Maybe I'm paranoid, but it seems a bit too convenient for, well, all the deities' plans that everyone on Manjulias appears to be working together on this. And that Julie now has "proper" motivation to make haste.

And that Julie now has "proper" motivation to make haste. Well... There is that theory that Quizmalia tricked the other gods into making the Magicant with her which is why it's so powerful, so if that's true I wouldn't be too surprised if she'd had a hand in this as well. Btw, I seriously think that Angelo was one of the previous Pendant Keepers. How the heck would he know what it does otherwise?

Angelo might be the former 'Unity of order" what ever that means

I think it's interesting how both Julie and Angelo have more or less gone through the same process - albeit in different ways which befit their respective alignments - and that Quizmalia and Daethros each offered an identical number of questions. (I think when Angelo last called upon the Judge for queries, he too was limited to three.) That seems a bit too coincidental to -actually- be coincidence, like order and chaos are in their way inextricably tied to one another. Of course, I might just be reading too much into things! Also, that's one heckuva permanent 5-o-clock shadow Brian's got going on there. Well, Angelo and Julie are kinda foils to each other. Julie's the Pendant Keeper chosen by Quizmalia, who used to be the official god of Chaos before getting kicked out; Angelo is a Cleric of Judge Daethros(and I'd bet that he chose to be one; as Daethros is compatible with his alignment without being Evil), and the Judge's not an official god either - it's the steward to the throne of G.E.A.R.S. Julie's the one chosen to reunite the pieces of the Magicant; Angelo's also seeking the Magicant but isn't the legitimate chosen one. Julie is a low-mid level Bard, a class that has a reputation for being weak; Angelo's an epic level Mystic Theurge, and is the strongest spellcaster in the entire plane. Both are married to a partner who isn't straight, but Julie's husband is a martial combatant while Angelo's spouse is a Wizard(probably squishy, too). Julie isn't Lawful - in fact she can't be - and her party members aren't either; Angelo's never shifted an inch from Lawful and most of his underlings are too. Incidentally in universe Julie has had to do some civil disobedience and the like because she was worried she would become too lawful and lose the ability to progress as a Bard.

I take that as a "yes except for that last part".

In the first frame it should be "Are you finished with your pills and your soul food."

In the first frame it should be "Are you finished with your pills and your soul food." I did it on purpose this time, it's just a speech quirk.
