Well, I don't think Harvey's actually lying about why he didn't decide to use Sending, but I think Julie's not totally wrong either.

Sorry for the doublepost, but... Hmmm... I get that the Magicant is a major artifact, powerful beyond any form of mortal magic, but how in the flippin' three hells is it stronger than the gods themselves? I mean, Quizma probably used to be the god of Chaos("used to" because she got kicked out after the Magicant fiasco), so it makes sense that she'd have been a Greater God... But she was only one god, and there had to be at least five or six others(the three Good gods, Sarbek, the then-ruler of the Great Empirically Awesome Rule System, maybe Tlondal and/or the former CE ruler of demons...). Could you please answer this question? I posted it just before(or maybe while) you were posting this strip, so I'm afraid you wouldn't have seen it... Sorry if I'm being a bother!

When you roll a zero on a d20! XD
Thanks Rogonandi!
Also, danielxcutter, my theory is that she tricked all the gods at the time to each put a bit of their power into it.

Evocation? I never noticed that. Why the **** is it evocation? I mean, I guess nothing else really quite fits either, but I would have thought it would be conjuration, like Teleport...

It's listed as Evovation in the source material, but your guess is as good as mine.

I always assumed Sending was an evocation because it broadcast your message across the universe like a radio tuned to a specific person. or maybe more like electricity going down a telegraph wire.

He could use a magic item and possibly UMD to communicate instead.
I'd thought that Shadow Evocation would work, provided he hadn't barred the Illusion school, but Sending is 5th level for Wizards.
Thanks for the comic!
