Here's another comic! We're checking out what's new at Everwood Castle, where we see Candesco finishing up the Atonement Ceremony for Maxo. Apparently the cost of doing the ritual is more than just 500 experience points. Perhaps a near death experience of the caster is part of the ritual, or maybe Candesco just really screwed the spell up...or maybe the moon goddess wanted to make them work for the power restoration a bit. Well, that would seem to confirm that Candesco's true neutral. (and that he's actually got more stuff he can wear than a sash or stars) And wow, you're creating comics so quick lately rogonandi!

It also confirms that Maxo was actually Chaotic Neutral rather than True Neutral. Those things Candesco are wearing are priestly garb that Moon Clerics often wear in ceremonies. One of the awesome things about a metropolis is that you can buy pretty much anything you need at pretty much any time. That bizarre moon disk was also purchased on the fly.

Candesco got better too, though.
Thanks Rogonandi!

Oh, I thought Nehelia was rejecting Candesco's appeal to convert Maxo because of Maxo's heinous crime. Well, until she directly contacts him and tells him exactly what to do.
What makes a good man go neutral? Lust for gold? Power? Or was he just born with a heart full of neutrality?
