New comic's up. The heroes have some brief resting time and Julie gets a message through Jack from Angelika notifying her that Pauline is not only alive, but planning to return to the quest. Julie is understandably elated by this news. Perhaps she might step things up a notch in finding the next Magicant Piece now. Bella must get the crappy kind of paper towels if that's her reference. What's with the black spiky bits on Grottor?

There are so many failed diplomacy checks on this page, you'd think people were being rude. This one wonders how vampires maintain such a high charisma without proper hygiene? Thanks Rogonandi!

Angelika has no excuse as she probably had a fine sleep, but pretty much everyone else has only had a few hours rest. Perhaps that's why everyone's so cranky. When it comes to Charisma, good looks and proper hygene are only a small part of it. Vampires probably have the bonus to their charisma to make them more intimidating and imposing, and people may be better off keeping their mouths shut over possible Vampire stench. You're welcome.

Even if showers are forbidden and you REALLY stretch it to include baths, sponge baths, prestidigitation, and a few other cleaning methods should work fine. Though oral and hair-related hygiene is probably difficult if they aren't reflected in mirrors; should probably get somebody else to help them with that. As always, thanks for the comic.

It's too bad becoming a Vampire due to non-siring, spontaneous revival doesn't give her any knowledge in how to be a vampire. The no sun allowed thing's pretty common knowledge, but a lot less people know about the running water thing. Baths or sponge baths might work, but prestidigitation is out. Unfortunately she's in the same boat as the vampiric cobbler that we've heard about. She's not a spellcaster, but an 'Expert: Innkeeper' so she doesn't have access to magical spells. The only thing that makes her special over a commoner is simple weapon proficiency and having chosen class skills geared around running an Inn. Her brother's a Barbarian, but he can't cast spells either.

Well, theoretically at least, she could pay an arcane caster to cast prestidigitation to clean her, as could other vampires. And yeah, not having a proper source of information about your species would absolutely suck. (Such as, say, menstruation, or the running water weakness) Somebody invent a printing press already! You've had long enough, people, do it faster! (Though magical duplication could work fine as long as people actually do it sufficiently)
