I've got a comic up at long last. That RPG game thing I've been working on's absolutely addictive to create monsters for. Julie and the crew caught up with Bella and Rocky going into the woods and ask what's going on. Bella, decides to remove Rocky's domination effect in an act of good faith to prove to Jordie that she's not as evil as he suspects. Even more surprisingly Rocky tells her with a freed mind that she didn't need to do any domination to get him to do the things that he did. All of them make their way to the treasure chest together now. Click here to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click here to vote for the comic: Click!

Thanks for the update, Rogonandi. The clerics are more than a bit creepy in how prejudiced they are; it should be more-than-clear to them that intelligent undead are free-willed entities and thus capable of a broad range of actions. Granted, I think it's creepy how quickly basically everyone resorts to killing people in D&D stories, so there's that. Has anyone here played with a party that resorts to inflicting nonlethal damage first when conflict breaks out instead of lethal force? Maybe, just maybe, Rocky will gain some confidence from this. That'd be nice. Also: If you want evocation power, don't go with a wizard or sorcerer. Import a kineticist from Pathfinder. They're made of awesome. Especially Kinetic Chirurgeons, best healers in the game.

Yay, an update!
Yeah, Rocky does seem to have morale issues.

Perhaps the exceptionally powerful aura of whatever alignment a Cleric or Paladin has might mess with their brains a little bit...but then again, the only Cleric we've seen who has had some black and white thinking issues is Jordie himself. We've seen them go nutty over converting fallen Clerics over to their side though.

Hoorah, update!
Im starting to wonder who is leaving all these chests out in the middle of the wilderness all the time... Traps might keep the average mook from snatching the loot inside, but its still just begging for adventurers to take your stuff.

Hoorah, update! Im starting to wonder who is leaving all these chests out in the middle of the wilderness all the time... Traps might keep the average mook from snatching the loot inside, but its still just begging for adventurers to take your stuff. Sometimes it's higher level adventurers dumping off stuff they don't want/need. Sometimes it's thieves who need to hide treasure for one reason or another. Sometimes it's the work agents of the Lady of Fate and Fortune specifically placing chests in random spots for people to try to find.

She gets bored sometimes and wants to see what various people do with the random assortment inside?

In a weird sort of way she is also the god of economy, as the random chests she leaves lying around do a lot to grease the economic wheels of whatever town the adventurers who opened it happen to visit.

That's right. Adventuring is the only lucrative market in Manjulias anymore. It's kind of like the real world except when people take stuff that's lying around here they might get busted for theft, grand or petty depending on what was taken.
