I've got another comic up, and it's the continuation of the battle between the Justice Crew and the Oppression Squad. It looks like it's going to be another difficult battle for Angelika. She's been put through a lot of punishment during this book. Click here to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Huh, I can Magotto getting AoO'ed as he moves by the bad ninja, but I can't think of what Grottor did to get one as well.

He isn't actually a Ninja, though I did notice when designing him that his colors and helmet kind of make him look like one. He's just a fighter who happens to be wearing a helmet. Magotto didn't leave his threatened area, though in this campaign setting, an opponent can make an attack of opportunity against an opponent entering their threatened squares provided they're aware of you and not flat footed. This variant rule was put into place on the logic that if an opponent is advancing on you, you're going to want to hit them first. It also makes Mobility as a feat a fair bit more useful.

I thought he was a ninja too. It's probably because it looks like he's attacking out of the shadows.
I'm thinking this might not go well if the Justice Crew end up defeated and have to surrender. A Lawful Evil adventuring party is not going to look kindly on violating the rules of the contest. To put it mildly. They'll go all Deer Hunter on them.
Harvey hasn't actually done anything yet, has he? What's going to be his big full-strength alpha strike? The situation clearly calls for his most powerful magic...which will be...what, exactly?

The only reason he hasn't done anything in the combat yet is because it isn't his turn yet and someone has to go last. Originally he was going to do something offensive and powerful like Holy smite since both Grottor and Magotto are good aligned and won't be damaged by its area of effect. He'll probably have to forget about it now because Angelika is now in pretty terrible condition health-wise due to being sneak attacked. He may have to burn a powerful healing spell like cure critical to get her out of danger.

Ah that makes sense, mobility is rather useless at the moment except as a stepstone to get to spring attack. I thought he was a ninja too. It's probably because it looks like he's attacking out of the shadows. I'm thinking this might not go well if the Justice Crew end up defeated and have to surrender. Harvey will cast the magicks that let the main adventuring party travel faster to their location. (he got traded for Angelika remember?) Maclain on the other hand.... I'm gonna guess Magic Circle against Evil.
