Here's the next comic. We find out this woman's a priestess for Janusine, which isn't much of a surprise. What's a bit more surprising is that Maxo isn't interested in what she's selling. Click here to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Interpretation: She did change a Cleric's faith tonight. Specifically, she strengthened Maxo's resolve and possibly gave him a much-needed kick to improve.
Nice to see them amiably disagree. All too many seem to be utterly insane and attempt to kill anyone with an evil alignment on sight.

I dunno if pointing out that Maxo's colour scheme is washed out is the best thing at the moment, given that night scenes tend to appear a bit washed out anyways. (nice detail though, i missed that the first read when we found out about it)

I hadn't noticed. It's not as jarring as going from azure to beige.

*Blinks* I noticed, and I normally don't pay much attention to the art. Weird that so many other people didn't notice his colours getting washed out... Maybe I rolled a natural 20 on my perception check.

Murky and Lurky stole his colors!
And, once again, it is nice to see the Forces of Evil behaving like adults instead of slavering murderers. I guess Neutral doesn't get as rude and offended as Good when Evil comes knocking looking for converts. Maybe Maxo is going to see the light and become Good? It would help to atone for the great evil he loosed on the world.
What was that panel-changing spell she cast, anyway?

XP cost for a level 0 spell? Or did she mean the divination?

XP cost for a level 0 spell? Or did she mean the divination? What she was talking about was the Atonement spell. You can use it to restore lost class abilities or magical alignment change. You can also use the Atonement spell to shift a willing target's alignment to match the caster's, and it would allow for Maxo to assume the role of Cleric for the same god(dess) as her. In all cases except for magical alignment change, the spell usually costs 500 XP.
