I've got another comic up, and Carrus gets a front row seat to see Brian's Big Blaster get blown up. Fun Fact: This one in-game day took 21 comics to do. Click this to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click this to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Well Carrus, the little elves are gonna go home and find an unpleasant surprise, but it's not the one you're thinking of.
Also, wow you're cranking out comics fast.

I have a feeling that the others aren't going to be too happy with Carrus' choice NOT to remain on the ship...

I have a feeling that the others aren't going to be too happy with Carrus' choice NOT to remain on the ship... Carrus twice ignored direct orders from Angelo and Janice knows that she's one failed Bluff check away from the soul harvesting roster. Do I smell a schism in the air?

Aww...I was looking forward to watching the ship bomb the crap out of the Elves. I always cheer for the bad guys in those situations. They didn't even get to use their sonic bombs. They sank the pirate airship but that was just to show how dangerous the ship was.
I thought Carrus' rotten breath was just a joke about dragon-breath, I didn't realize it was actually his breath weapon.
Man, the castle really did a number on the imperials. A pity about Maxo's ridiculous demon wish, the good guys appeared to actually win the big battle.

It's been a pretty inspired couple of weeks. Aww...I was looking forward to watching the ship bomb the crap out of the Elves. I always cheer for the bad guys in those situations. They didn't even get to use their sonic bombs. They sank the pirate airship but that was just to show how dangerous the ship was. A pity about Maxo's ridiculous demon wish, the good guys appeared to actually win the big battle. Yup, 'Rotten Breath' is the Black Dragon's breath weapon; a cone of negative energy that rends bone and destroys flesh. Maxo didn't even mean to make a wish in the first place...that demon just interpreted his complaint as one. It's one more reason why you should never make a bargain with a demon.

Then why did he lose his mojo? I mean, cleric powers.

It's more a question of the sheer SCALE of the screw-up. Basically he unleashed a monster powerful enough to have the attention of the gods. And he might have failed to let anyone know it happened except for Candesco who was then killed. That's a bit much for a...12th? Level Cleric to be expected to handle, so basically it's less 'this is to teach you a lesson' and more 'you incompetent idiot! this cannot be excused!' Alternatively, it might be a way to say: Back off. This is not something you can handle, go repent, and forget about this. Which may come with a side of '...and you can forget about advancement after doing something like that.', but that depends on the god in question.

Where is Exillon now? Is it(?) still on Manjulas or did it(?) plane shift away? Off Topic: I love how things like over land travel of days or weeks can be resolved in about ten minutes in D&D. But ten minutes of combat, that is going to take all session.

But ten minutes of combat, that is going to take all session. It's in the Kingdom of Justice, and it was forced there by Slammy's Prismatic Spray spell. It's going to have to elude the angelic police force and find its own way back to Manjulias.

Hang on a minute, in panel 5, did Carrus just kill on of the people on his side? It looks like some of those insect fliers underneath.

No, they're actually Pixies riding domesticated Manjulias Mud Daubers (Giant Mud Wasps.) The pixies are invisible, though it doesn't mean too much when their mounts aren't part of their ability.

Yeah, that's what I meant...getting the wish in the first place. Whatta maroon. I present this question for everyone's consideration: What do you guys think would've happened if neither Candesco nor Maxo accepted the wish from Mortaridar?
