Technically this is the second comic update in the same day as the last one...but I posted that one right at the beginning of today as in 1am or something...oh well, I'm sure no one minds a day or two which I update more than one comic page. It looks like Exillon really has been removed from the scenario, and apparently the battle caused Simonicus and Randi to level up! I'll tell you all right now that those character pages on them are quite old, and they have gained a level since then. This makes Randi level 14 now, Simonicus level 13, and Peganone at the beginning of level 12 after being rezzed, and out of luck. Is the random ability score bonus how it works nowadays? It's been so long since I actually played the game for real I barely understand the new rules anymore.

Neat. Same with the XP loss too? Regular 3.5 puts a raised from dead character at the midway point if i remember right. Limited Wish Puppy certainly goes everywhere it seems.

Limited Wish Puppy certainly goes everywhere it seems. I can't 100% remember either, but that's not as harsh as losing an entire level. I could probably do that instead when they resurrect her, so she'll be at the middle of level 12 instead of the beginning. It may be a different puppy. It's a big world after all.

So, the stat bonuses are at 4th level and every 3 levels thereafter, instead of 4 and every 4 levels thereafter? Interesting.
Also, +2? Wow, this has really been powered up, in exchange for the random aspect.

So, the stat bonuses are at 4th level and every 3 levels thereafter, instead of 4 and every 4 levels thereafter? Interesting. Also, +2? Wow, this has really been powered up, in exchange for the random aspect. No, the earned stat bonuses are the same as they always were: +1 to a stat every 4 levels. Those aren't the same thing as what's happening here. What happened here was something special that happens in the Manjulias setting upon reaching level 10, 13, 15, 18, 20 and so on. They get a +2 inherant bonus in a stat that can stack with itself up to a maximum of +6 in a score, slightly better than the inherant stat gains you can get in many other campaigns (+5 inherant bonus.) The catch is that finding inherant bonuses any other way is extremely difficult. They can't be found as a treasure item like the various magic books that grant said inherant bonuses in the DMG. They're found as quest rewards, usually for doing something extremely difficult. The other catch is that you're not garunteed to get the statistic you want raised, hence the wheel. Simonicus didn't get INT last time.

>corrects inherent >doesn't correct "guaranteed" I think she's actually talking about the comic itself. I saw the spelling error myself and immediately fixed it.

>corrects inherent >doesn't correct "guaranteed" I plead temporary insanity brought on by six inherants!
