It's been almost two weeks, but I do have another comic finally finished. Work has been brutal and I've been coming home exhausted. In any case, apparently it was the Castle that caught the Souballos in some kind of 'Gate' trap which dumped them in a demi-plane in Zebro. Unfortunately the newly resurrected 'Candesco' wasn't pleased with this and has shed his skin to reveal his true self. Uhhhh... just to note Percy the solar angel seams to have her leg over her sword so it looks like its sticking between her legs.. hardly a dignified position.

Hmm... I guess Candesco didn't actually provide a scale for resurrection then. Else it got stolen and replaced with something to call the demon.

Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's those pincer tentacle penis things again. They keep popping up attached to horrid beings of various types. Someone who's better at deduction than me should go through the archives and put all the pieces together. What are they, and why do Angelo and his clones have them too, but usually hidden?
Why does the demon (does it have a name? the castle is acquainted with it) want to battle Angelo? Some sort of Chaos vs. Law thing? And the castle knows that the Souballos would temporarily ally with the good guys to defeat it? And it's of a power level that they NEED three wizards capable of 9th level spells to help? Eek.
On the bright side, the fact that the demon is in Manjulias means an angel can come in too? I think?
At any rate, I'm glad to see that the demon wish has backfired and is now totally going to screw the good guys. What was Maxo thinking, asking for a demon wish? He's a cleric, he's supposed to have a good Wisdom score! He was so in control on his island. Maybe he's one of Angelo's tentacle clones in disguise?
These comics are great. Every single one for the past 20 or so has had me on the edge of my seat to see what happens in the next one.

Hmm... I guess Candesco didn't actually provide a scale for resurrection then. Else it got stolen and replaced with something to call the demon. Well...yes and no. The scale DNA was used but...perhaps you guys could venture a few guesses on what went awry with it. It's a bit simpler than that. The demon wearing Candesco's skin was just in the process of morphing into its true form in that panel. Eek. The only thing I can say without spoiling anything is that this demon is named, rather than a generic...and it's also a lot powerful than a generic member of its species. On the bright side, the fact that the demon is in Manjulias means an angel can come in too? I think? Actually...a wish made through a demon is a contract, and probably the most dangerous form of contract you can make with an Outsider. Even the wisest creatures in Dungeons and Dragons can roll a 1 on their wisdom checks. Even Candesco tried to convince him it was a terrible idea. Thank you very much for the praise! It makes me all smiley.
