I've finally completed a new comic, between work, that bizarre flash project and the husband and I getting the place ready for a family visit! We're back onboard Brian's Big Blaster where we see the Everwood Trio, Denise and Slammy making their way to the control room as quietly as possible. Unfortunately one of the Octodaethus' Angelo has called is stationed inside the airship and has found them. However, it wasn't too lucky and two Outsiders VS 1 is a fairly quick fight. I love how shes just casually wailing on it with her mace while disparaging her group of chatty kathys.

chronos12 I think I've played in that group too. In fact I may have been more like the Deva than the others. Should we start a story time thread about in party bickering?

I don't know if I could do a whole thread on it, but my brother even later into his dnd career is extremely time consumingly paranoid about traps and surprise attack monsters. And I don't know anyone in my party that doesn't sometimes take at least ten minutes to think of their characters actions while the others give advice.

Reminds me of a time in my 4th edition game where our rogue was feeling especially paranoid, rolling a perception check for traps on EVERY SQUARE of the hallway...ended up being 50+ perception rolls before our DM said, "You feel CONFIDENT that there are no more traps in this room."

Yeah my games simaliar when it gets like that except there's no rogue and the character is spending in-game hours tapping the floor with a extending pole to activate any traps. Then still taking Perception rolls to check for traps.

Yeah my games similar when it gets like that except there's no rogue and the character is spending in-game hours tapping the floor with a extending pole to activate any traps. Then still taking Perception rolls to check for traps. There's a spell Clerics can use where they can check for traps as a rogue. Why weren't they doing that? He was a lone adventurer Warblade (Book of Battles). So he wasn't packing spells and didn't have the Knowledge (Arcana) (or OOC knowledge of it) to know about it. I tried to give him a break as a lone dungeon diver and had really easy traps in it so he found all the traps he didn't roll a 1-5 on the dice. Mostly keeping the challenge of the dungeon suited to his strengths. (Athletics rolls and combat encounters.)

The angel's mace looks more like a tire iron That's because it is a tire iron. A tire iron with a +3 enhancement and Disruption on it. The stunning thing is an exclusive Astral Deva thing.
