I've got a next-day update to help make up for that dry-spell earlier. In any case... Brian and Angelo decide to pay Janice a visit in her office, to confront her about her rule breaking. Though a bit annoyed and put out over it, Janice does accept responsibility and her punishment...which wasn't really all that bad for someone her level. Janice should have known better. Next time use lawful neutral outsiders. And don't get caught.

...This seems like a boon but when I consider how Angela is off chasing after those guys and seperated from Julie's party...Well. I suppose no matter how many times it happens it's still a rule: NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY!!!

I think Angelo's halo went poof in Panel 8. Or are we just zoomed in too much to see it?

I suppose no matter how many times it happens it's still a rule: NEVER SPLIT THE PARTY!!! It's going to take some magic to set things right again with this new turn of events, but yes. Even if Angelika does return to Julie's group immediately, that is. I think Angelo's halo went poof in Panel 8. Or are we just zoomed in too much to see it? I fixed that, thank you for catching it.

Just a few strips ago I was remarking that high-level magic was removing plot obstacles. Now, here we are with the two chief villains, and they're removing the plot obstacle that was going to be the whole next chapter. I tell ya, you just can't tell what this comic is gonna throw at ya, so don't try to guess.
