I've got another comic up. Brian and Angelo come across Jordie and Warren, and remove Janice and Bruce's enchantments on them. Angelo forces them magically to tell the truth on who they are and what they're doing there, and Jordie complies, possibly not even trying to make the saving through. What happens next may be one of the most anti-climactic ends to a dramatic story arc I've ever seen. Click here to go to the comic's archives: Click!Click here to vote for the webcomic: Click!

Well... this will probably be bloody and horrifying. At least those two characters are free and might meet up with one or more of their teams in the new future.
Also on the bright side... this may just decrease the defenses around the airship and might lead to it genuinely being destroyed, though probably at horrifically high cost for the resistance. Maybe they'll pull off something unexpected and make the engines violently explode by hiring one of the disgruntled lawful minions or something.
Also, is this an improved version of Discern Lies (possibly by houserule) since, by default, I don't think there's any difference between "made will save" and "isn't lying" for Discern Lies by RAW. Abadar's Truthtelling is WAY more useful, I think.

That's... nice of them I suppose?
Although anyone trying to infiltrate the castle as wait staff is going to be pretty thoroughly screwed.

It's not such bad livery.
Angela and her group may actually complete the 'rescue' by the end of this book, but will they still get XP?

Abadar's Truthtelling is WAY more useful, I think. When it comes to the Airship battle, Jordie's parents aren't a part of that plan. They aren't part of the five people Brian was talking about a page ago. It's the same version of Discern Lies, it's just that Jordie and Warren actually were telling the truth. They didn't feel any need to hide anything when it comes to answering that question. That's... nice of them I suppose? Although anyone trying to infiltrate the castle as wait staff is going to be pretty thoroughly screwed. Any spies in the castle would probably be doing it a bit more thoughtfully. It's not such bad livery. Angela and her group may actually complete the 'rescue' by the end of this book, but will they still get XP? Yes, but probably way less.

"Here, go to Autumnson and take these Crystals of Missile Homing with you." I have a suspicion that Autumnson isn't going to be a great place to be soon.

I actually meant that these actions could lead to Janice's inevitable betrayal (in either direction) happening sooner, thus weakening plan "Defend The Airship".
Also, it would be interesting to know how much she has already betrayed them... like setting all of the created minions to betray the Empire at the same moment she does, or if she's betrayed, or whatever.
