Now we'll never find out what the undead town was about. Thanks Rogonandi!

Now we'll never find out what the undead town was about. Thanks Rogonandi! Well, taking int account what was said about Undead slowly becoming evil over time, a few months from now we will probably learn that the village's undead have gone apeshit and killed most of the living neighbours.

Why would a undead become evil over time, basic instinct, succumb too a hunger for flesch/life energy/blood? Julie explains in this page that it's due to the negative energy that created them often turning them bitter and hostile.

Julie explains in this page that it's due to the negative energy that created them often turning them bitter and hostile. That's a surprisingly... real life explanation. People who surround themselves with negative energy do indeed turn bitter and hostile.

So, did that cleric just walk off because he won't be able to teleport until tomorrow, or because he's going to walk all the way back? I can see it being either, since he's a cleric of Nehhilia.
Also, I spot a Protek in the background. That's a nice little detail.

Crystalwind Clerics typically only get access to (Greater) Teleport through the travel domain. So that means he's limited to preparing it in the domain slot. However, given the amount of money he's just been paid, that cleric is going to have a fun rest of the day. @rogonandi is it wrong that I want to know what Julie was talking about?

Mia was actually a character from the first version of the Manjulias RPG game that I was (and am still) working on. However, I'm going to be using different characters for the final version of the game which is now going to have only gay male characters in it (and one female character, who happens to be their boss.)

I suppose we can presume he's in that awkward place where he can cast a level 5 Teleport spell but not a level 6 Word of Recall to get home?

Well, if it were me, I would always keep Word in Recall in reserve just in case I would need to bug out. I mean, his village was slaughtered by crazy extremist elves, the other side of the conflict are Lawful Evil genocidal tyrants, there are insane necromancers turning people into zombies around the countryside, and his neighbours have been turned into undead creatures that will become evil over time... Yes, he needs an escape route.
Of course, he could keep Plane Shift prepared for that too...
